Also, just to confirm an earlier post, CBA’s Brian Neller has committed to the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC) as he made a visit to UMBC yesterday and made his commitment at that time, so congrats to Neller.
Also, Manasquan defeated Raritan, 69-56, as junior guard Matt Vadas poured in 31 points. Chris Monahan led Raritan with 18 points.

Updated 7:50 p.m.
A putback by Colts Neck freshman Hunter Wysocki gave the Cougars a 46-44 lead with 1:42 left in the game and that is the score right now with 43 seconds left. CN just missed the front end of a one-and-one and RFH has possession down by two after taking a timeout.
I also have gotten word that a fight broke out on the floor at the Squan-Raritan game, so hopefully that didn’t get too out of hand.
Updated 7:42 p.m.
Rumson-FH just tied it at 44 on a 3-pointer by Matt Blumel with 3:52 left in the game after making a defensive stand when Colts Neck ran a minute off the clock before attempting a shot on the previous possession. The crowd is really starting to get into this game now for Rumson.

Colts Neck leads 39-36 heading into the fourth quarter thanks to a bucket by Chris Leroy with 30 seconds left in the third quarter. Both teams are struggling shooting from the perimeter right now. Fouls are not a factor, as RFH only has 2 and Colts Neck has three. Also, I just got another score, as Freehold beat Long Branch, 70-64, with Christian Garcia scoring 21 points and Brandon Brown adding 19. Holmdel also defeated Red Bank Catholic on the road earlier and will face Freehold.

Updated 7:09 p.m.
Rumson-FH and Colts Neck are tied at the half after Rumson’s James LeCardi made one of two free throws with two seconds left in the half. Colts Neck’s Kyle Mobbs is killing RFH off the dribble and slashing to the basket, as he has 10 points at the half. Colts Neck went 7-for-13 from the free throw line in the first half as it was getting the ball in the paint regularly.
LeCardi is off to a good start shooting the ball, as he has 13 points in the first half, including three 3-pointers. Rumson’s shot selection leads something to be desired, but they are hanging in there. Center Dean Wise is also doing a nice job defensively as he has altered or blocked about 5 shots so far.

Rumson just watched a six-point lead disappear as Colts Neck has tied the game at 19 with 4 minutes to go in the second quarter by forcing turnovers and forcing the action off the dribble offensively.
