Christian Brothers Academy senior swingman Brian Neller has reportedly made a verbal commitment to continue his career at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC), so congrats to Brian, who recently crossed the 1,000-point barrier for his career. It’s no shock that Neller ended up at UMBC, as I reported a while ago that UMBC was going hard after him since early in the season. Neller is the second current senior to sign with a Division I program, as Monmouth’s injured Joe Willman is headed to Bucknell.
Speaking of Bucknell, their football team added another Shore Conference product in Raritan defensive lineman Brian Flynn, who is 6-4 and about 280 pounds, to give them another big body up front, so congrats to Brian. He joins Red Bank Catholic offensive lineman Chris Spahr as a fellow Shore Conference senior headed to Bucknell.
