Baseball – Blood Drive For Former Matawan Player on April 22

Former Matawan player Jawann Brown has been diagnosed with leukemia, and the Huskies are holding a blood drive to help him out. Matawan head coach John Kaye provided the information below, so make sure to go take a couple minutes and give blood to help out one of our own from the Shore Conference:

A blood drive to support Jawann Brown, Matawan Class of 2005, will take place on Wednesday, April 22nd at the Matawan gym from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.  Jawann has been diagnosed with leukemia and can use the support of the community through blood donations.

To sign up or receive more information, please contact the Maroon and Steel Parents Association of Matawan, either Rebecca at 732-566-2538, or athletic director Joe Martucci at 732-705-5309.  All donors must be 17 years of age or older and weigh at least 120 pounds.  Donors must present signature ID.
