Darmstatter/Lawson to Return on Friday for Barnegat, Manchester

Barnegat star Jarrett Darmstatter, a Division I-A prospect with double-digit offers, has been cleared to play in Friday night’s National Division game against St. John Vianney after missing two games with an elbow injury, according to Barnegat coach Rob Davis. Darmstatter is a standout tight end/linebacker/defensive end, and his return should especially help shore up Barnegat’s run defense. He missed consecutive losses to Jackson Liberty and Manasquan that dropped the Bengals to 1-3 on the season.

Also, Manchester standout two-way lineman Jimmy Lawson has been cleared to play and will return on Friday night against Matawan after missing two games with a sprained MCL in his knee, according to Hawks coach Gerard O’Donnell.
